I like the part about the setting in which the story takes place in a hardworking city into a deserted and abandoned place. Also, I like how the novel follows Mattie through her life in the epidemic. I love the part when there is a sudden turn of events as the epidemic "turns Mattie's world upside down."
My favorite aspect of the setting in Fever 1793 is when Mattie and her grandfather wind up in Bush Hill, where they receive proper care. Now, in a healthy condition, they may continue to live well.
I like the part about the setting in the story, near the beginning, when Mattie and looked out the window to see the busy town outside. It gave a rush of emotions to me.
The setting do change a lot. The story moves from place to place and that is something I like about it. My feelings change when the settings move because every time the setting move the actions move along.
