Of course, I love every good character in the book (bad-behaving characters are the the Pritchard's), but my most favorite one is Little Ann. She is a very good hound, and I like how she has the smarts and the wit. I also like how that helps her make the smart decisions in a hunt. Also, I absolutely love how she doctors Old Dan, and how he too, in turn, doctors her. Little Ann goes along well with Old Dan, which is why she is my favorite character in this novel.

I love her smarts and skills and I think that if I met her in real life, she would be an adorable little pup. I think she and Old Dan go together like PB-and-J. She is a well-behaved dog and I like the fact that she isn't fooled by any coon's tricks. I also like the way she thinks, that is why Little Ann is my favorit character in this novel.
Even though I love all the characters in the book, except the Pritchards, Billy is my favorite character. I like Bill because he has the ability to put his heart to anything and stick with it. For example, he was so determined to buy his hounds, he had done lots of hard work to earn money. I also like how Billy worked with his dogs to get many coonskins, and that Billy was willing to enter the championship hunting contest. I think that Billy is an unique boy.

She doesn't give up to find the trail. Also, when the author describes her, she seems so CUTE! She really showed that she loved Billy and Old Dan. She seemed like a perfect companion, because she really cared. She was also so smart that she seemed to be able to communicate with Billy. That's why she's my favorite character.
My favorite character in the book is Old Don because he is filled with strength and skill. He isn't very smart and it impatient but he is very protective and is very kind to Billy and Little Ann. Just like most books my favorite character is usually the one with the strength and skill.
