Jen is another third child. Although she must stay hidden, she lives her life freely inside. She is the type of girl who does what she wants and disobeys rules. She was discovered by Luke when she didn't follow the rules by looking out the window. She can think of a mischievous plan whenever. She plans to go against the Population Police and be able to go outside. It’s how she is. On the other hand, you can tell she cares about people. When there was blood on the floor because of Luke she cut herself so he wouldn’t be in trouble. She does what she wants, but is still caring of others. Her strength is that she is not afraid about the outside. She has lots of courage. Her weakness is that she may live life so freely, that the Population Police might see her. If she makes another mistake like looking out the window, she could get caught.
Jen is a very unique character, especially as another shadow child. She is able take many risks without leaving her tracks uncovered. Jen is the type of girl that always gets her own way. Sometimes she can be a little rough, but it's mostly for the best. However, Jen is also a kindhearted person with many nice qualities. She had promised Luke that somehow she would sneak him outside without being caught. You can tell that she has a lot of bravery and courage, but on the other hand, is a sweet girl who will do anything to help others. Although she has a lot of strengths, her mistakes and flaws can send her down a dangerous road. She could get imprisoned by the Population Police, or worse, shot and killed.
Jen is different from other shadow children. She does what she wants and doesn't care about what others say about her. I really admire that about her. Even though she is a little careless, she still gets cautious. She pinned down Luke when she saw he was standing near her. I completely agree with Sanjay when he says she could get caught and shot by the population police. She is unique and nothing like Luke. She goes by her own rules and that carelessness could get her killed.
Jen is a self confident girl and she comes up with really crazy ideas. She does not react to what people say about her. She is a different type of shadow child because she wants to have her own rally so all the shadow children can be free which shows she really cares about people like her and I personally admire her characteristics.
Jen is a self-sufficient shadow child who likes to take risks and see what happens. Jen is a very nice friend because she does help Luke escape. She also canceled the alarm system when Luke was first caught in it.
