This applies to me when I stop to see how far someone else is on an project rather than continuing what I am doing. This is a small example but sure is true.
This quote can apply to me, because I used to wonder whether I would fit in with this popular girl in my class named Cyenna. But then I realized she isn't the type of friend I want, so I decided to play with other people that turned out to be true friends.

I was close enough to other kids to see that they were far ahead of me on the quiz and some were even finished. Then I realized, it was time to stop standing and start walking. In the end, I won runner-up and the people that finished early didn't.
